Krikey AI has partnered with Stable Diffusion to create character animations that can be exported to build 3D characters for games and animated films. They are not the only companies working on this use-case.
However, this is not something to fear.
FACT: Yes, many creative jobs performed by humans will be supplanted by AI.
MYTH: This is a linear replacement of jobs that will cause widespread unemployment.
TRUTH: AI will force us to reimagine the heretofore flow of productivity and consumption in work and life.
While the Industrial Revolution made certain jobs obsolete but created more new jobs than were lost, the progression was somewhat linear in conception. AI will not take a linear path, but instead a geometric path. In other words, replace the progression of AI as a representation on a flat 2D chart, and start opening your mind to the progression represented by a multi-dimensional geometric function.
We’re not going from Point A to Point B or event Point A to Point Z. That analogy uses the same frame of reference (letters of the alphabet) as a starting and ending point. In reality, the ending point will be something completely reimagined.
